Welcome Home!
Here, at the Almar House, we strive to offer our guests classic, comfortable accommodation at an affordable rate.
Our Georgian-style home, nestled on a 1/4 acre of land, is located right in the Old Historic District just steps away from many of Niagara-on-the-Lakes main attractions including the Shaw Festival Theatre, the main historic street, wineries, golf, and a host of restaurants, shops, museums and art galleries.
Our home features 2 Queen and 1 King Room each with their own private ensuite and TV/DVD.
Each room is unique in its’ own rite. The Gabriella Room is romantic featuring antique furniture and a four poster bed. The Elizabeth Queen Room makes for a cozy and charming stay as it is a traditional style B&B room with a little ‘twist’. The Tarah King Room is extremely spacious and can accommodate up to three people - perfect for a family or group traveling together.
Here, you will start your day with a delicious breakfast consisting of fresh seasonal fruit, home-baked goods and a hot gourmet entree. Menu items include Baked French Toast a la Crème Caramel, Specialty Frittatas, Belgian Waffle, Eggs Benedict and other savory delights!
Our Guest Lounge, located on the bedroom level, is fully equipped with a fridge, reading material, DVD's, games and snacks and is always open for your convenience. Outside, you can relax in our outdoor garden-sitting area..
There is on-site parking and complimentary bicycles for your use. We are both English and French speaking.
